Concept Development and Pre Production
The client approached us with the idea to shoot a winter campaign. They wanted two distinct elements which we are no stranger to shooting: snow and a supercar. The initial shooting timeline had us holding cameras in the dead of winter, but the reality was that the clothing was not ready until late April. This meant pivoting…
Luckily, we have been here before. Consulting with the client, we recommended going ahead wiht the shoot and switching to concept that focused more on dry roads rather than the originally planned icy lake. Hunting late winter snow and a drivable road meant pulling some strings and landing somewhere high in the mountains in the heart of Norway. We secured access to a closed road to allow for maximum freedom when shooting driving shots. No traffic, vast winter landscape and a dry ribbon of asphalt.
A World Class Team
With French director Jean-Olivier Petitjean, English still photographer Leon Mark and our team of cinematographer Mats Andersen and still photographer Kyle Meyr, we came ready for war. The deliverables demanded perfection and we built just the team to deliver that. With our own internal unit on site for grip and assist, we were also tasked with sourcing digitech, stylist assistant, props master and more.
Aside from the crew, we were also tasked with sourcing a location and car as well as providing hospitality for the crew of roughly 15 people from brand and production crew.
Double Barrel
In addition to Leon Mark, we had our own Kyle Meyr on b-camera shooting both BTS and extra stills.
