Coop Østlandia
From building hype to shooting on the night.
Event promo and coverage.
Building hype.
In the lead up to the event, we were asked to film an episodic series of films about a comedian’s journey to sneak into Coop’s corporate party. The films starred comedian Ola Henry faking various jobs at Coop’s locations in an attempt to get an invite.
We were tasked with cinematography, audio and post-production. These films were used online in the build up to the event as a way to build hype and get Coop employees excited about Østlandia, the main event.
The film series also included episodes featuring actress Amalie Stuva highlighting various personalities working at Coop locations near Oslo. The aim was to build pride in the brand and its work force in the lead up to the main event.
For this we were tasked once again with cinematography, audio and post-production.
The Main Event
After all the build up, we were finally tasked with shooting the event itself. This meant delivering both an event video showing off the extravagance of the entire day and evening as well as still photos.
The event was split into a boot camp themed team building for the leaders of the various Coop locations during the first half of the day and a large seminar transformed into dinner and a show in the evening. Throughout the evening there were breaks for musical and comedic performances to entertain the guest while they were served dinner.
Our job was to cover everything in both film and photos, showing the event from start to finish. The client asked for “grand” views of the event, so we aimed for a wide and hectic visual style.
